Christ College Brecon - Rugby 7s Invitational Tournament
The Brief
Christ College Brecon hosts an annual rugby 7s tournament which sees sides from across South Wales compete for glory.
This means 100s of young rugby players, parents and supporters who all need to know where they need to be, food to keep their energy up, tea to keep them warm (it’s in February) and want to be able to see the action wherever they are… This is where the Tantrwm Events team come in.

Our Approach
Tantrwm has all the kit and expertise needed to make an event like this happen. This is what we brought to the party!
PA system and commentary booth.
This one-day tournament is hell across three rugby pitches and has staggered kick-off times. Also as a knockout tournament, the schedule for each team is only decided at the end of each round.
Tantrwm’s sound system allowed the organisers to make important announcements quickly and easily, making sure everyone knew which matches were kicking off on which pitches and what time kick-off would be… also announcements on bad parking (always handy)

4K live streaming.
Not everyone who wanted to follow the action could make it to Brecon in person. So Tantrwm streamed the games live all day long. The action was available in HD on Facebook and YouTube. The streams had live commentary and onscreen graphics with live scores.
LED Cinema Screen.
As well as streaming the action live online we also had our 5×3 metre LED screen showing the action in the catering area, so people queuing for their teas, or hotdogs didn’t miss a thing.
Catering equipment.
Tantrwm brought outdoor catering equipment and our Cider Wagon (selling coffee, not cider this time) so that everyone could be kept warm and well-fed.
