Defence Fulfilment Centre Tour Videos

Over the years we have been extremely fortunate to work with some of the most brilliant and forward thinking organisations in the world. Leidos is one of these. Leidos is a science and technology solutions leader. They address some of the world’s toughest challenges in the defence, intelligence, homeland security, civil, and healthcare markets. They also look after the supply and storage of items for the Ministry of Defence. These items can be anything from machinery parts and weapons to socks and plasters. We have a long relationship with Leidos.

When they wanted to shout about their Defence Fulfilment Centre and how they’d streamlined the supply process, naturally they came to us.

The Defence Fulfilment Centre is a huge logistics warehouse. It plays an important role in helping the Ministry of Defence get supplies to personnel across the world. It is also an important part of the MOD’s efforts to build a modern, data-driven logistics system. The DFC want to reduce the number of visitors that come to see how the systems operate. However, there are still many people within the MOD and the UK Government who need to understand the work that is being done there. We created a digital resource that provides a video tour of the physical facility, but also explains the systems that allow it to work so efficiently. The videos use a mix of live action footage and animated diagrams to give the viewer a complete view of the DFC’s capabilities and importance.

We’d love to be able to show them, but we can’t as they are classified (seriously, we kid you not). There were 8 films in total that cover every aspect of this ground breaking facility. It was like filming in a giant spaceship. Simply awe inspiring.
