[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]There are three strands to this package…
- Connecting your social media to your website
- Optimising your website for Analytics
- Installing security software onto your website
[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]Social media is a good way of engaging with your clients and building up a following for your business.
Social media can interact with your website in three distinct ways:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]Analytics does what it says on the tin, it analyses how your website is being used by the general public. You can find out how many people are visiting your website, what they are looking at and where in the world are they from.
We’ll install two types of Analytics onto your website.
Site Stats give you the broad brush strokes at a glance. They are quick and easy to use and can tell you how many people are visiting your website on a given day, allowing you to track busy and quiet periods.
We’ll also link your website to Google Analytics, the industry standard for analysing traffic on the web.
Google Analytics allows you to drill down to extraordinary detail, seeing which pages are most popular, how long people are staying on your website for, what town they are from and even what type of device they are viewing it on.
These stats can then be used to shape your online strategy and even feed into your overall business plan.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]The world wide web is quite paradoxical, in that it’s biggest positive – the fact that anyone with an internet connection can access and share stuff with everyone else with an internet connection – is also it’s biggest negative as things can become vulnerable.
You may wonder why someone from Russia would want to hack the website of a canoeing instructor from Abergavenny, but believe me it does happen!
Luckily there are things that can be put in place to help prevent these hackers running riot.
We’ll install software on your website that makes it very difficult for a hacker to break into it.
You may ask yourself – difficult, why not impossible? The honest truth is it’s not possible to totally stop hacking (and if anyone ever offers you a hacker-proof website you shouldn’t believe them) as the very nature of the web means everything can be hacked.
If by chance the hackers do manage to break through (a scenario that hasn’t happened to us yet), the software informs us immediately that there’s been a breach so we can get in and kick them out.
It also scans the website to detect any malicious software that might have been uploaded.
In short, this software is about the best in the business at keeping your website secure.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
