Promotional videos bring key messages about your organisation to a huge audience.
This particular promotional video project found us venturing to outdoor educational centre, Storey Arms…..filming in a flooded, pitch black cave! One of our experienced freelance camera men arrived nice and early to make this exciting promotional video. His location for the day was in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, where he was immediately handed waterproof clothing, boots and a safety helmet before starting out to film the first of the day’s activities.
The purpose of the project was to capture a variety of fun outdoor, educational activities that the centre has to offer in a film running less than 5 minutes, plus a condensed version of approximately 1 minute. The first stop took our adventurous cameraman to the beautiful pitch black, flooded cave of Porth yr Ogof. Accompanying him was a class of school children with teachers and the centre’s trained tutors, all eagerly awaiting to explore the slippery, dark and mysterious hollow. He then ventured to where the kids were kayaking and hill climbing to get more footage.
The full length film sees a combination of interviews illustrated by footage of children thoroughly enjoying themselves caving, kayaking and hill walking whilst they learn problem solving along the way.
This is why we love our job. Absolutely every project we are involved in is completely different and it’s this variety that keeps us on our toes….even if at times they may get a little soggy!
