Setting your creative film in the right location is vital for your audience to understand and essentially believe the message you’re trying to convey.  Here’s a short list of things to consider with choosing an effective location for your production.

Choosing the Right Location for Your Film

Deciding on a location is entirely dependent on the theme and content in the film. For example, if you wish to create a film about a world-class barista, we’re going to need to hire a coffee shop location. Whilst it sounds obvious, the process of analysing a suitable coffee shop is much harder.
Is it a big coffee shop capable of accommodating the crew and equipment? Is it in a busy public area such as a town centre? Would they have reservations about closing for most of the day to allow us to film?

Creating a quality, informative film in the right setting can be challenging and requires a great deal of positive imagination in order to make the best of the space and surroundings available. An ability to deal with issues such as noise, changing light conditions and the general public is also critically important to filming on location, as these are outside elements that are particularly difficult and expensive to control.

Where Tantrwm Come In

Tantrwm have decades of experience in this field. Over the years we have built positive and lasting relationships with many interesting and dynamic filming spaces across Wales and the UK. From liaising with proprietors and relevant authorities to arrange permissions to ensuring a safe, efficient and stress free production on the day of filming, our ability to find, hire and film in any location is another way Tantrwm is able to make sure your video looks incredible.

Our location hire service comes at cost price, depending on access and permission fees and logistical costs set by the owners of whatever location is decided upon.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]For this hospitality video we needed to find a large coffee shop to film the main scenes.
In total we filmed 9 scenes in both English and Welsh, meaning we needed the coffee shop for the entire day.
We approached a cafe who allowed us to film at their premises on a Sunday when it was closed, meaning minimal disruption from customers and the public.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/BrhwYKCoom4″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
