Enthusiasm is infectious. If you’re not excited about your work, then how can you expect anyone else to be? This doesn’t have to mean jumping up and down with joy every time you step into work (though the day might pass quicker if you do!) it just means caring about what you do.
Being happy, encouraging, brining ideas to the table and becoming part of a team all result in a better end product. Caring about the work you do is fundamental to to being professional. Besides, you spend an awful lot of your life at work, so you may as well enjoy it.
