How to interview like a seasoned pro!
So interviewing. That’s gotta be pretty easy right? Well yes and no. Getting good interviews on video can be a challenge, but with the right approach even the most camera-shy interviewee can be coaxed out of their shell. Here are some tips to get you started.
Don’t ask any questions that can be answered with a simple yes or no: Because most people will just say yes or no, and that is very boring to watch.
Get them to answer in full sentences: Most of the time you will want to be able to cut your questions out. So you need them to put their answer in context.
Be friendly: Most people hate being filmed and hate having camera pointed at them. The person being filmed is helping you out. Be nice to them and try and put them at ease.
