A storyboard is to the visuals of a film, what a script is to the words. And on some projects this part of the process is invaluable.

We tend to use storyboards on any project where the visuals require a high degree of precision. This could be because of the way the story needs to be told or it could be for technical reasons such as VFX or animation.

With greenscreen or animation projects, storyboards allow us to access what elements will need to be created. For example, which angles a character will need to be drawn from, or how many backgrounds will need to be illustrated. In cases like this, storyboards will save the project time and money.
